Douglas Alan Baker 2-9-52 to 1-3-11

Hello friends and family,

Doug passed away at 12:30 a.m. this morning.  He fought and fought and lost the battle.  The earth is a much diminished place without his spark and smile.  Wanted you all to know of his passing.

Memorial Service:

There will be a Memorial Service for Doug on February 4, 2011 beginning around 11:30 a.m. at the Wellshire Inn located at 3333 South Colorado Boulevard in Denver.  This is located basically at Hampden Avenue and Colorado Boulevard.   

I am requested that anyone who would like to speak and/or share a memory be prepared to do so.  No one should feel obligated, however.  There will be a eulogy and speaking portion to the event after which we will adjourn to the lounge and have us a celebration of this man's life.  His birthday would have been February 9th so we're going to wish him well on his new journey and a happy birthday.  

March 24th Herman's Hideaway

A benefit for Heather 'Wee Wee' Thayer.  She is a 9 month girl with Billary Artresia and her family needs help to katch up with her medial expenses.

History: October 2nd! Again we will be at Herman's Hideaway.  This time we'll be going second!  We're excited! July 24th We'll be playing again at Herman's Hideaway!  That's right, we had so much fun there they want us back.  Hopefully you can join us. Video of April 15 is available on the Video page! May 8th 2009! We'll be playing with Homeslice and Lonnie Hill & Hideaway Band.   Sweetmo will be going on First at 7:30pm. We'll be posting tickets very very soon! April 15th 2009 We feel we did a good job a Herman's.  Our friends came out and supported us and had a good time doing it.  We performed quite well and are excited to get some video and audio up on the web site as soon as we can.

We're Back

That's right.  With a new lineup and new songs we are having more fun than ever.  Look for us playing at places like Herman's in Denver.  Be prepared for a good time and bring your dancing shoes.
